Peter Maivia was always kind to everyone. Woody Farmer who eventually ran Bay area wrestling never had a bad word to say about anyone. A good person. Alexis Smirnoff too, was kind and was reliable. Red Bastien was well liked as was Jerry Monti. In the early day Pampero Firpo impressed me; he spoke 4 languages and had a beautiful wife. He had me over for a fantastic steak dinner at his San Jose home years ago (I was one of the few to be invited to his home) and I eventually did serveral articles on him.

Referee/wrestler Rich Frisk also loved the biz and had a good reputation. Bob Roop and Kevin Sullivan were extremely serious,   professional and worked hard. Rocky Johnson was a good person and a good joker. He loved his big cigars!
