6. Sandy Barr...I still remember the Magazine Article that deemed him the barefoot boy wonder in the early 60’s. Sandy started out as a young blonde babyface. Later took over the reffing duties in Portland during the heyday. Also promoted shows in Oregon as well. Has wrestled 2 matches this year, including his most recent match on September 16th. He is the father of the late Art Barr, Jesse Barr and two new wrestlers, Shawn Barr and JR Barr.

7. Eric Frolich...Frolich was a high flying barefoot wrestler in the style of Ed Carpentier. He was a gymnast before becoming a wrestler.  Also wrestled as Eric Rommel and was pushed in several places in the late 60’s and early 70’s. He feuded with Kinji Shibuya in Los Angeles.

8. El Gringo....Worked in Portland in the early 70’s. He teamed quite a bit with Bull Ramos during that time, as with their gimmicks they were natural partners. Also wrestled as Don Savage in Calgary.

9. Super Hawk....Came to Portland in the mid 70’s. Worked like a muscular lucha star. Very flashy and exciting. Not sure of his identity. Also wrestled as in Calgary and won the tag titles there for a short time. I think he could have been a draw here if given the chance.

10. Luigi Macera...Luigi worked in the main events in the 50’s and by the 60’s he was more in the semi main event category. Worked all over the West Coast. My dad always tells of the time he threw a peanut and hit Luigi in the chest. Luigi then challenged my dad to come to the ring. My dad declined. (This was probably in the late 50’s) My dad to this day always asks me if Luigi Macera is still wrestling. (No dad, he is probably about 80). But I do believe he is still alive!
