TASW #3 Page #2

The Hoods while capable, were not one of the better teams out there but somehow they managed to hold on to the titles until November 17,1985 eventually dropping them back to American Force in San Antonio, Texas. The now two-time champions would enjoy a longer reign this time around as they defended the titles against such teams as the Hoods, the Diablos, the Zambuie Express and various combinations of Al Madril, "Killer" Tim Brooks, & Austin Idol(Mike McCord). They would lose the tag team titles on January 27,1986 to the newly formed team of Al Madril and the Magnificent Zulu. Michaels would leave the promotion almost immediately afterwards. Madril & Zulu would remain champions until April when Zulu was fired. Mike Golden was permitted to replace him in the team. At this point, TASW would rename the tag championship in April to the U.S.A. Tag Team titles. Name change or not, Madril & Golden would lose the belts to the "Dream Team" of Iceman King Parsons & Tiger Conway Jr. on May 23,1986 in Pasadena, Texas. The Dream Team would defend the titles until August 10, 1986 dropping them the team of Mike & Dizzy Golden but would regain the belts a little less than 2 months later on September 30, 1986.

They would continue feuding with the Goldens over the titles until sometime in October when Parsons would leave the promotion. Mike & Dizzy Golden were awarded the titles and would be the last recognized champions as the promotion would close it doors forever in November.
