This month we’ll be taking a look at some interesting facts, trivia, and oddities. There’s a little something for everyone, as this collection of information ought to bring back some memories or even teach something new. Let’s dive right in. 

Ten Great Things About Mid-South Wrestling

  4. New stars like Magnum, Taylor, Williams, and The Rock n Roll Express were given a chance to shine
  5. 125 people at the Irish McNeill Boys Club made more noise than thousands of people at some arenas
  6. Arena caliber matches on TV
  7. Jim Cornette’s hilarious interviews
  8. JYD!! JYD!! JYD!!
  9. DiBiase vs. Flair
  10.  Cowboy Bill Watts sternly making his points during interviews

The Only Bad Thing About Mid-South Wrestling

  1. It’s gone

Crazy Finishes 

  1. Adrian Street kisses Terry Taylor to distract him and win the TV Title with a roll up.
  2. Ernie Ladd chokes out Magnum TA with a rope and maneuvers an unconscious Magnum to make him appear awake and alert and keep the match going with Ladd ultimately stealing the North American Title.
  3. Mr. Olympia apparently wins the North American Title after pinning JYD when JYD was down on his stomach instead of back (the ref was groggy after being clobbered).
